SectionQualities of a Great Leader After your board education facilitator is gone, and after your team building event is over, there are leadership characteristics that should have been fueled and now continue contributing to ongoing positive change. It is my intention as VisionarEase CEO, that we will help bring out those qualities of a great leader we know that you and your team members already possess. I also believe that the best team building exercises are those of the team building in the workplace variety. Here are a just a few qualities your in-house leaders should be bringing into play more often after a professional development event:1. an ability to focus clearly and openly on the Mission, and to be comfortable articulating it if appropriate. 2. leading by example in areas such as realistic optimism, quality improvement and trust 3. an openness to continuous learning and personal development Great leaders of history: Who is your favourite? Mohandas Gandhi, Icon of Nonviolent Protest, is among my top 10. I find particular meaning in Einstein’s comment on the great man’s work: Taken on the whole, I would believe that Gandhi's views were the most enlightened of all the political men of our time. We should strive to do things in his spirit: not to use violence for fighting for our cause, but by non-participation of anything you believe is evil.
